About the Smoky Mountain Bobsled

Experience a classic Ober Mountain adventure on the Smoky Mountain Bobsled, a beloved attraction that has been delighting visitors since 1976! Take the Sky Village Express chairlift to the midway point of the mountain, where your "chariot" awaits. Hop into your sled-like cart and prepare for an exhilarating descent down 1,800 feet of winding track.

The Smoky Mountain Bobsled offers a unique experience for ages 3 & up. With a push-pull lever to control your speed, you can choose to race down the mountain or enjoy a leisurely ride while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and the Smoky Mountains.

  • Secure shoes required

  • Pregnant women not permitted for safety

  • All riders (including any young child riding with an adult) must be able to walk
