Ober Mountain is proud to offer Summer Tubing as an additional mountain-top activity nestled in the valley of Mt. Harrison. Offering guests an activity of this caliber will increase enjoyment for all visitors who are seeking a new thrill with fantastic views.
The new attraction is adjacent to the Mountain Coaster, which is the highest coaster in elevation east of the Mississippi River. The Magic Carpet will continue to carry riders and their tubes to the top of the tubing hill where they can cruise back down on one of four 250’ lanes. The slippery lanes made of synthetic materials, allow riders to feel the sensation of being on layers of compact snow. Neveplast tracks also respect and preserve the environment and will be easily removed before the snow flies for Snow Tubing.
While Summer Tubing may be new to our area, it is popular in Europe and many other parts of the world. Neveplast is an Italian company that started in 1998 making artificial surfaces for skiing and snowboarding. The company quickly gained popularity and incorporated tubing in 2001.
