Rider Requirements:

• Riders must be at least 42 in (107 cm) tall to participate 

• Riders under 12 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult (18+) 

• Riders 18+ must sign waiver in-person 

• Weight Limit: 300 lbs (136 kg) 

• Riders are typically expected to be at least 5 years old and must have the physical ability to safely control, direct, and brake the bike and safely load, ride, and unload the lift. 

• Pregnant women are not permitted for safety 

• One rider per bike; No tandem bikes, secondary rider seats, or riders with child carriers 

• Helmets are required; knee pads, shoulder pads, and chest protectors are recommended 

• Closed toe and secured shoes required (no flip-flops, Crocs, or loose-fitting shoes); athletic shoes recommended 

• Alcohol, tobacco, food, or drink are not allowed in the Bike Park area

Bike Requirements:

• All size bikes must have disc brakes

• All bikes, 24″ & larger must have one form of suspension

• Ober Mountain bike trails are not designed to accommodate adaptive mountain bikes

• Uphill travel is not allowed at Ober Gatlinburg as our park is designed and will be operated as a downhill park only

• Ages 6 & under must be accompanied by a ticketed adult (18+)

• Socks are required and are available for sale

• Skates are required while on the ice, no pedestrian traffic or wheelchairs are allowed on the ice.

• Riders must remain seated upright at all times and may not swing the chair, lean out, or extend arms or legs beyond the chair area. 

• Throwing of any object off the chair lift is not permitted. 

• No more than 4 patrons per chair at a time 

• All riders must sit on the chair independently; Riders may not sit on laps or in child harnesses 

  Use restraint properly at all times. Do not attempt to modify or defeat the restraint system; do not lift the safety bar until instructed at entry/exit points.

• Riders under 14 years old must be accompanied by a ticketed adult (18+). Our course does not permit tandem riding (2 guests riding together), each guest will be on their own parallel line. 

• Participants must be able to lift at least 10 pounds and safely ascend and descend stairs. 

• Closed toe and secured shoes required (no flip-flops or loose-fitting shoes) 

• Loose clothing and hair should be secured before the start of the course 

• Guests with injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations should consult a qualified medical professional before participating and must still meet all attraction requirements. 

• Pregnant women are not permitted to participate in this activity 

• Visitors under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) 

• Food and drinks are not permitted in the Wildlife Habitat. 

• No animals are allowed (service dogs are allowed)
